Four Terroirs

Ktima Gerovassiliou / Ktima Biblia Chora / Ktima Mikra Thira / Ktima Dio Ipsi

On Monday, 11 February 2019, four Greek estates welcomed 400 wine professionals at “Four Terroirs” event. A wine tasting experience with more than 50 wines from Epanomi, Pangeon,Therassia and Ilia, and two unique masterclasses entitled “Journey in Time”.

In the neoclassical building “Amalias 36” in Athens, Ktima Gerovassiliou and Ktima Biblia Chora presented all their wines, as well as some special labels and unique vintages, while guests had the opportunity to taste for the very first time, the wines of the new estates ‘Mikra Thira’ (Therassia, Santorini) and ‘Dio Ipsi’  (Ilia, Peloponnese).

The highlight of the event was the two masterclasses. With coordination by Yiannis Karakassis MW, the winemakers Vangelis Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis welcomed a limited number of visitors, for a rare tasting of white and red past vintages from Ktima Gerovassiliou and Ktima Biblia Chora.

The wines of the event were accompanied by signature dishes of chef Lefteris Lazarou.
