Presentation of the Gerovassiliou wines in Belgium

"Commanderij Bellebeek" is one of the 39 clubs of the "Vlaamse Wijngilde" and has 60 members. It is a group of Flemish wine-tasters (from the region around Denderleeuw-Belgium) that gathers together about 6 times a year.

Under the leading of a wine-master (Johnny Grootvriendt), they taste wines from all over the world on an objective and critical manner. The club exists 30 years and Johnny Grootvriendt is the oldest active wine-master of the National Vlaamse Wijngilde (more than 3000 members). The secretary of the club is Simonne Wellekens, one of the most famous wine-critics of Belgium who  writes for "De Standaard", a national newspaper.
