Japanese culture in Gerovassiliou Wine Museum

Saturday, 5 November, the great grand-child of Japan's national poet of Greek origin, Lafcadio Hearn, presented to the public, the life of Hearn in different parts of the world, his open mind and his Greek spirit. Bon Koizumi's lecture ended with a screening of the new animated short film of Panayiotis Rappas "The Fountain of Youth". The movie is based on Lafcadio Hearn's homonymous story. In parallel, an exhibition of Lefkadio Hearn's books was hosted by the collector Takis Eustathiou. 

    
Sunday, 6 November was dedicated to Japanese cuisine. The team of the well-known Japanese chef Matsuhisa created a unique dinner of high gastronomy for only 60 guests. Gerovassilou wines accompanied the dishes harmoniously, while the Museum settings hosted ideally this special evening.

We can only hope that the year will continue with equally interesting events.
