In our universe, approximately 13.7 billion years old, everything is past. Looking at the stars in the sky, we do not see the Universe as it is today, but as it was many years ago. The Sun’s light reaches earth with an eight-minute delay. Even when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we do not see our reflection now but as it was a few milliseconds earlier. Without past only the day of The Big Bang. The day the Universe was created.

Professor at the University of Crete Giorgos Grammatikakis spoke in a simple and comprehensible way about our “young” Universe, the primordial light, physics & music, and physics & wine to a packed House.
