Having as its pivotal objective the appreciation of wine and vine as fundamental cultural elements by people of all ages, Domaine Gerovassiliou is open for organized school visits while offering educational packages addressed to different age groups.

More specifically, these educational programs aim at:

• Familiarising visitors with the vine and its products, the wine-making processes and their status within a social context
• Investigating the concept of quality, as far as production and consumption of products, everyday tasks and time management are concerned.

School teachers can chose between a creative guided tour and various thematic educational programs according to the specific needs of their students.

The Museum is part of an active viticulture and wine-making centre. The interaction of realistic and museological stimuli both processed to revolve around a single thematic core offer an excellent multi-dimensional learning experience. These programs are based on the active participation of children-adolescents and teachers-escorts are expected to contribute in various ways throughout the visit. The adopted approach to wine-growing varies according to the visitors' age group.
